Husqvarna UK Ltd, based in Newton Aycliffe, is part of the worldwide Husqvarna Group, which currently includes Flymo, McCulloch and Gardena in its brand portfolio. The facility produces around a million Garden Care Products every year and has maintained a position of market leader for more than 40 years.
There are two factories on the site; the Assembly Division 14,000sq ft (producing the finished products), and the Moulding Division 80,000sq ft, which already this year has produced 34.4 million components (98 % of all the plastic components.)
