The Enterprise Europe Network is the European Commission’s business support network providing information and advice to small and medium sized businesses across Europe. The network operates across 40 countries including all 27 member states and through it’s associated offices in countries outside of the European Union.

The network offers specialist advice to companies on a range of EU related issues such as accessing new markets, identifying new sales and supply opportunities, innovation and technology partner searches, funding searches for R & D including framework programme 7 (FP7) and also facilitating trans-national business contacts through it’s company missions and matchmaking events.

Some of the services and advice available to business includes :

•    A free tender alert service to business on European tenders
•    Market reports and fact sheets on EU countries
•    Funding searches through the Grantfinder & Grantnet services
•    Information on EU legislation and directives
•    Brokerage services to find technology partners
•    Innovation, commercialisation and technology advice and support
•    Supplier sourcing and other contacts for distribution, agency, joint venture etc
•    Internationalisation activities including organised company missions
•    Advice and support with R & D activities including grants
•    Framework Programme 7 (FP7) advice and support.
