A north east engineering repair company and a provider of managed inventory solutions are the latest organisations to sign up to exhibit at the region’s largest manufacturing and engineering exhibition – and they are urging other businesses to follow their lead.
Euroserv Ltd based at Boldon Colliery and Propeller GB based at Peterlee are just two the 90 plus exhibitors expected to take part in Oktoberfest, which takes place on Wednesday, October 19that the XCEL Centre, Newton Aycliffe.
Now in its fourth year, Oktoberfest is organised by the private sector to provide manufacturing and engineering companies with the chance to promote the range of skills and services which give these industries such a good reputation.
Specialising in the supply, repair and field service of Servo motors, Electric motors, AC Drives, Resistors, DC Drives and Inverters, this will be Euroserv’s first year exhibiting at the showcase event.
Allyn Richardson, Field Sales Engineer, Euroserv said; “We are the only company in the North that repair servo motors in-house and a large portion of our work comes from the motor repair industry up and down the country as it takes specialist equipment and technical ability to service Servo Motors and Drives. We supply a number of blue chip companies including Nissan and Rolls Royce and are looking to meet new customers at Oktoberfest who can deal directly with us.”
“We visited Oktoberfest last year and were so impressed that we felt it would be a great platform to present our company at again this year. I would encourage other companies looking to broaden their customer base to attend,” he said.
CEO, Tony Goodwin of Propeller GB said “Propeller GB is the UKs only fully integrated turnkey provider of vendor managed inventory services to industry. We work with progressive manufacturers and our patented Android Inventory Management systems have been proven to cut costs by up to 40% in areas such as maintenance, repair and operating spares and consumables. “
The company attended last year’s Oktoberfest and were quick to sign up again this year to promote their services. “We didn’t hesitate to get involved again this year. We’ll be using the event to demonstrate to attendees how our world class technology can improve their productivity and profitability. Any company keen to network and make new contacts in the industry should participate in some way, either by taking a stand or attending as visitor. The networking really is excellent," he said.
With very few stands remaining, exhibitors are urged to book their space as soon as possible.
