Formed from a management buy-out in 2002 the company has offices in Aberdeen, Fareham, Wisham and here in the North East at Seaham Grange Industrial Estate.

Signed up as exhibitors at Oktoberfest 2011, Anthony Shields, Area Sales Manager, m.b. air systems, gave us an insight in to his first experience of exhibiting at Oktoberfest. He said “Last year’s event was a huge success for us. We had been targeting a company for quite some time and took the opportunity to speak to them at the exhibition. This resulted in us signing them as a client and carrying out a substantial amount of work on their behalf.”

“We took the decision to contact all of our current customers as well as some prospective potential customers and encouraged them to come and see us at the event. Overall, footfall to our stand was excellent. Not only did we generate some new business but we got the chance to reacquaint ourselves with some old contacts. We also ‘walked’ the event as visitors, networking with other exhibitors and attendees and this generated quite a few leads for us too.”

Anthony went on to explain that this year, m.b. air systems will be taking full advantage of everything Oktoberfest has to offer. “Unfortunately last year, we didn’t participate in the ‘meet the buyer’ sessions and I do think we missed a trick. This year we’ll definitely be signing up for some ‘meet the buyer’ appointments to fully exploit every potential opportunity.”
