We are pleased to announce that Hitachi Rail Europe (Hitachi) and Merchant Place Developments (MPD) will be attending Oktoberfest 2011 at the Xcel Centre, Newton Aycliffe, on Wednesday 19th October.


Hitachi and MPD wish to take this opportunity to bring exhibitors and visitors up to date with the development of the Intercity Express Programme, and give initial indications of the potential supply chain requirements that may arise at various stages of the project timeline between late 2012 (when construction at Amazon Park is due to commence) and early 2016, when the first customer delivery will occur.

Neither Hitachi nor MPD are attending as buyers, however they will both have exhibition stands where visitors & exhibitors can meet company representatives. Hitachi and MPD will also both be giving short presentations following the event’s official opening.
